Fall Basketball Training registration is open!  Get ready for tryouts and build your skills! 

Tryouts are October 6th for the 2024-25 season. Players must pre-register for tryouts.

Putnam Youth Basketball is a competitive basketball program for girls and boys teams for grades 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th.  Teams play ~20-30 games; Nov-Mar.

OPTIONS

PYBL is a competitive basketball program.   Players must tryout for an opportunity to be on a team.  Not all players will make a team. For players that do not make it, Recreation Basketball is offered through NCPRD Hoopers and i9.

PYB Competitive Basketball Tryouts - Winter 2024

Tryouts are October 6th at Alder Creek Middle School for the Winter 2024-25 season. Please check back as the date nears for the final schedule.  

Competitive Program Information 2024-25

All players must register and attend tryouts to be selected on a team.  Season Fees of $350 are due October 15th if your player is selected to a team.   Scholarships are available for those needing financial assistance.

Fall Basketball Training - Fall 2024

Fall training is great opportunity to work on skills and get ready for tryouts.  Come as often as you can! Players must be registered in order to participate. 

Cost:  $50 for all Fall trainings OR $10 per day
Dates: September 9 - October 10

GROUP 1: Boys 3rd-6th grade
Tuesdays & Thursdays - 5:45-7:10pm 
Location: Alder Creek Middle School

GROUP 2: Boys 7th-8th grade
Tuesdays & Thursdays  - 7:15-8:45pm
Location: Alder Creek Middle School

GROUP 3: Girls 4th-8th grade
Mondays & Wednesdays - 5:30-7:15pm
Location: Bilquist Elementary

Please bring water and a basketball to all trainings. The schedule is subject to change.
